Do you have a balanced diet?

Everyday we learn more and more about the importance of nutrients of diet on our lifestyle and health. It is true that all essential nutrients can be obtained from a nutrient-rich diet. 

But the question is how many people are really concerned about a balanced diet when it comes to delicious food? Such as Nasi Lemak, Asam Laksa, Fried Kueh Teow, Roti canai, and etc.... Most of us will choose delicious food and taste over nutritional value. 

Secondly, due to the tremendous change in our lifestyle and environment, how many of us can be sure what we have taken will provide us a balance of various nutrients? 

Try to recall what you have taken for the whole of last two weeks. How often did you eat out. and how often did you take fruits and. vegetables or do we take enough? 

Fruits and vegetables, are good source of minerals, enzymes, chlorophyll, vitamins, protein and fiber. Most health specialists believe that a number of health problems could be prevented or alleviated with a diet high in fruits and vegetables. 

You will realize that even though we know the importance of a balance diet, we seldom practice healthy eating.
